2022 CMA Awards

At the Annual General Meeting on December 11, 2022, the 2022 CMA Awards were

confirmed by the Board of Directors, and awarded as follows:

Award of Merit – Beth Pineo

For long standing exceptional effort or achievement which reflects favourably on the CMA or furthers the works and aims of the CMA.

Fulvio Callimaci Memorial Supporters Award – Elaine Mowry and Clive Barnes-Moss

Individual or group who have supported or promoted motorcycling in an exceptional way during the past year.

Marilynn Bastedo Safety Award – Steve Reed

For the person or persons contributing to motorcycling safety over the past year.

Ambassadors Award – Dan Kruger

For long standing exceptional effort or achievement which reflects favourably on the CMA or furthers the works and aims of the CMA.

The Media Award – Billy Rainford

Exceptional favourable coverage of motorcycling by the media, electronic or print (except within motorcycling).

Government Award – City of Calgary

Awarded for actions or policies, laws, statutes and the like implemented that have benefited motorcyclists and the use of motorcycles.

Honorary Treasurer of the CMA – Vera Godsall

White Memorial Trophy – Trystan Hart

Donated by Ron & Eve White

Best performance by a Canadian rider in all disciplines / later changed to best performance by a #1 Plate winner.

Bert Irwin Memorial Cup – Shelby Turner

Donated by Ontario Region

Best Performance at the ISDE.


M. Duff Trophy - Juline Lafortune

Best Amateur National Rider
