Moto Introduction for Absolute Beginners

The three hour Introduction Course is a beginner-friendly program designed for individuals curious about motorcycling to experience riding for the first time in a safe, guided environment. It removes barriers by offering short-duration sessions featuring motorcycles. This Course is for absolute beginners, “moto-curious” individuals, and those considering getting their license. You will learn balancing and braking, starting, clutch control and moving off from a stop. An Ontario driver’s license of any description is required. An M1 is not required before you take this course. This course is intended for those people who have always wondered if motorcycling is something they should consider for themselves.

Participant requires proper riding gear:

  • boots above the ankle

  • full finger sturdy gloves

  • sturdy jacket that does up fully

  • sturdy pants with no holes/rips/tears

  • DOT/ECE or Snell street legal helmet

There is a risk with riding a motorcycle and therefore all participants are required to read and sign a liability waiver. Must be at least 16 years of age to participate with a valid Ontario driver’s license. Participants under 18 must have parent/guardian sign release waiver. Courses run rain or shine, hot or cold.  All participants should be prepared for all weather conditions. Participants will not receive a certificate nor a license upgrade. The Motorcycle Introduction Course is three hours in the parking lot on our motorcycles, allowing you to gain a basic understanding of riding and dispel any concerns about operating a motorcycle. Participants are required to bring all proper riding/safety gear.

  • Mounting a Motorcycle
