CMA ADDS NEW DIRECTOR TO ITS BOARD

Joseph Godsall, President of the Canadian Motorcycle Association, is pleased to announce that effective immediately, David Pinkman of Calgary, Alberta, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Association.


David’s motocross career began in his high school years in the early ‘70s and has continued non-stop to this day. Most recently he was a member of the Team Canada effort at the 2018 Veterans’ Motocross of Nations which was held at storied Farleigh Castle in the UK.

Mr. Pinkman has been a Board Member of the Wild Rose Motocross Association since 1987, and currently is a Director and Treasurer of that club, which operates the well known Wild Rose MX Park in Calgary.

David obtained a BA degree from the University of Calgary in 1980, and an LLB degree from the University of British Columbia in 1984, and was a partner at the law firm Pinkman, McArdle, Barristers and Solicitors from 1991 until December 2000. He is currently an independent businessman.

His extensive experience gained while serving on the boards and in managerial positions of a number of public and private companies carrying on business in the resource, power and other industries, and also with a variety of local volunteer organizations, brings a unique and welcome set of skills to the CMA Board.

Mr. Pinkman will serve until the next Annual Meeting of the CMA when he will be eligible for renomination.

 

UN NOUVEAU DIRECTEUR S’AJOUTE AU CONSEIL DE LA CMA

Joseph Godsall, directeur de l’Association Motocycliste Canadienne est heureux d’annoncer que, effectif immédiatement , David Pinkman de Calgary, Alberta , a été nommé au Conseil des directeurs de l’Association.

La carrière de Motocross de David a débuté au Secondaire au début des années 70 et n’a jamais cessé jusqu’à ce jour. Récemment, il était membre de l’effort Team Canada au Motocross des Nations Vétérans 2018, qui se déroulait au Farleigh Castle au UK. (United Kingdom).

Monsieur Pinkman était membre du Conseil de Wild Rose Motocross Association depuis 1987, et est présentement directeur et trésorier de ce club, qui opère au fameux Wild Rose MX Park de Calgary.

David a obtenu un diplôme BA de l’Université de Calgary en 1980, et un diplôme LLB de l’Université de la Colombie Britannique en 1984, et était partenaire de la firme Pinkman, McArdle, avocats et notaires de 1991 jusqu’à décembre 2000. Il est présentement un homme d’affaire indépendant.

Sa vaste expérience acquise au service des conseils et positions directoriales d’un grand nombre de compagnies publiques et privées , et aussi une variété d’organisations bénévoles, apporte un unique volet d’aptitudes au Conseil de la CMA
