A TREAT FOR CMA ROAD RACING NOSTALGIA BUFFS

Take a look at this delightful racing film created by then teenager Vaughan Killin in the period 1969-71. Most of it was shot at Harewood Acres near Jarvis, Ontario just before it closed down. There are other shots at the Mont Tremblant track near St. Jovite and in the pits at Mosport.

Watch for Mike Duff #84, Tom Faulds, Jim Allen, Ernie White, Dan Sorenson #27, Frank Mrazek #149, Duane McDaniels #1, John Nelson, Randy Platt, Ken Morgan, Paul Stokes and Paul Ostram.

Quote from Vaughan:

“The title of my 15 minute film is “To Soar Like a Bird”.

It was my first film and therefore is a bit rough around the edges, but sitting behind Mike Duff and filming over his shoulder at 130 kph convinced me to get into racing myself two years later”
