The Board Committees will be chaired as follows:

Affiliations: Mr Stephan Carapiet, FIM Asia President
Awards & Recognition: Mr Giovani Copioli, Board Member
Finance: Mr Robert Dingman, FIM North America President
Governance: Mr Jacques Bolle, Vice-President
Human Resources: Mr Jorge Viegas, President
Strategic Plan: Mr Jorgen Bitsch, Board Member

New Commission Directors were appointed; Mrs Katia Juarez for the Sustainability Commission (CID) and Mr Jesper Christensen for the Public Affairs Commission (CAP).

A task force, chaired by Mr Per Westling, Secretary General (SG) of the Swedish Federation and composed of several national Federations SGs, was created to report on urgent concerns of national federations (FMN) and continental unions (CONU).

Mr Jorge Viegas, for his first trip as President, will assist to the Dakar departure in Lima, Peru, beginning of January.

“We took very important and courageous decisions in our first Board of Directors. We are going in the right direction, putting the National Federations, the Continental Unions and the Commissions in the center of the decisions. I want also to congratulate the new elected members: Mr. Jan Stovicek, Mr. Jacques Bolle and Mr. Giovanni Copioli!” said Mr Viegas, FIM President.
